They should make parking meters that you can buy cards for like those interstate cards that let you just drive though a lane and get scanned/charged.

I know but everyone I have come across seems to enjoy hitting people with tickets. This is an admittedly small percentage of the total meter maid population but I stand by my stereotypical assumption regardless.

Where I used ot live, all the meters had been swapped out to ones you pay for by credit card. And that you topped up by card also. Much better.
