Question, where did all this talk of Mturk not being around come from? Did some news happen that I'm not aware of?
I think the way mturk works it can't really be permanent, but there's nothing saying omgeverythingisdyingnow.

I wish I had kept all my NES stuff so I could sell it to dummies. Especially my bootleg Castlevania cart that inexplicably had the Double Dragon label on it - that's like 1.5x the nostalgia!
RIght now N64 and Dreamcast are really taking off for prices.

With the whole job thing, I don't feel like anything is safe anymore. When I went into teaching, I figured it would have so much job security. I was so wrong. It's totally changed the way I look at the job market now.

Lots of job markets are becoming unsafe...there are computer programs that can do things office workers with college degrees do, how do you think that makes them feel?

I hate this conversation because it makes me so anxious and panicky. MTurk is pretty much my only option. I've looked into basically all the other work-from-home stuff and either they aren't/weren't hiring, I didn't qualify, or some other reason. I tried freelance writing and there's just too much competition and it was almost impossible to find work that was worth the money.

The prices nerds pay for NES stuff is just comical.

In 2005 I had a sealed copy of MegaMan 5 that I opened and I hate myself for the rest of my life for doing it.

Dont' listen to me, I always make things sound worse than they are. I'm very dramatic. I get it from my family :x

Horrible. It upsets me so much. I have so many friends that have been displaced because of things like this...went to school for years and worked their asses off just to be let go at the drop of a hat.

If it were to die we'd have to open a Mturkcrowd webcam site...

I haven't worked in over a week because my company didn't pay rent at our location. We've been locked out of the building, I don't even know how to answer the employment question on surveys.

I worked for a big oil and gas company for 10 years. They laid me off three different times. The last time it was 25,000 people who lost their jobs.

So yea, there's no sure thing out there.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...

Mr. Andrew R Bernat posted 70 cent hits with a 5-minute timer to find a CTO of a company and their LinkedIn page. I knew they were risky because of no TO and did 2, sure enough, I got rejected this morning for "wrong answer." I'm positive they weren't.
