ive worked retail, ive worked a couple office jobs, etc. ive had one really cool boss. the rest so-so and one i couldn’t stand

the thing with mturk is it could collapse at any time. i guess that’s true for most jobs though anywhere

that’s why its important to just get a trade or improve whatever trade you’re good at. because work and life is an ever changing rollercoaster

If you wanted to, you could probably just give her the code and she could claim it in her personal gift card balance. It's not the same, but it's also not entirely losing $20 here and $20 there.

ETA - once the gift card is "claimed" by entering the numbers in an account, I don't think you can get it back.

Ya know...anyone who get's the extra GC, could just ask for Francesca's PayPal email, and send her $20 after you buy something on Amazon for $20 that you'd normally buy with turk earnings/credit/debit.

The problem is crowd sourcing should only increase in the future with the way everything is going, you'd think other platforms would be coming up.

i guess what im trying to say is dont put all your eggs in one basket. keep expanding and improving in other areas as well

whether it’s coding, doing a side business (that one day could be a main business), etc

easier said than done of course, but just to keep at it

So, instead of napping I managed to put on actual clothes and go to Walmart to get my antibiotics prescription. I figured out that if I didn't do that, there's a pretty good chance my head will fall off from infection and that makes like, living and stuff, really hard. So now..do I nap until its time to pick up kids? or just turk because whatever? Blah.

if you're out there working, you have a reference and the possibility of moving up at that job (or hearing about another job where you could move up).
turking is a dead end

I bought a shirt of theirs the other day lol...they are these dudes from my generation, late 30's that literally go around trying to collect old video games. The stuff is actually edited and looks professional, pretty entertaining stuff in my view.
