I'm still here - literally

Been a rough couple of months for me. On March 31st I woke up thinking I might be having a heart attack. By 11am my wife talked me into going to the emergency room. Instead I had an Aortic Dissection that split all the way down the left side of my heart. The doc told my wife that only 20% survive one and that only 40% of those survive the surgery and that she should be prepared. I went through a 9 hr surgery and spent the next couple weeks in the hospital recovering from having my chest opened up. Then I went home for the rest of my recovery. After about 10 days I had to go back into emergency as I had gotten a couple of staff infections and had a lot of fluid around my heart and lungs. So, another sketchy surgery and a couple more weeks at the hospital as they drained the fluid. By that time I was feeling good enough to come back home and have my wife inject antibiotics three times a day into a PIC line that they stuck in me for a month. Finally got it out on Monday. Now I'm feeling good enough to do a little Turkin. So, long story short -- I'm still here

How many rejections do you tend to get in a day/week?
I need to know so I can either feel REALLY bad about myself or feel better.

I run on the same schedule usually.

Go 2 weeks without any.
Get 3-5 in a week.

I didn't get any in 20 days, got 2 today.
The pattern strikes again.

I have no idea. I have 32 total... so it averages out to like, not many over the years. (7ish years I think? 8? I dunno....)

Okay, you're the only one to make me feel good about it. I've gotten 3 in 2 days. For going too fast and them getting mad that I read too fast and NO ONE CAN DO IT THAT FAST. So I was concerned I need to just slow the fuck down. I'mma just bake everything now.

This has been my experience since getting masters. Seems to me that must of us are more likely to get them on slow days since we're more desperate and our trusted batches are nowhere to be found. We take more risks, and mturk bites us in the ass.

I mean the amount of rejections doesn't really matter.
What matters is are you keeping that approval rating at a masters worthy level.

As long as you put up the numbers it's not a worry.
