That seems like a lot. I live in a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment and with the fridge, tv's, my aquarium, my computer and all the other crap around the house we pay like $100 bucks less than you. No electric heating here though and the stove runs on gas.3 bed 2 bath. I don't think we use anything most households don't use...basic appliances, TV, computer, etc...
we have electric heat, no gas. it just seems like a lot and it's putting a huge strain on our budget. ugh I hate being an adult. I don't feel like oneThat seems like a lot. Electric heat would definitely do that, especially if you keep it nice and warm.we have electric heat, no gas. it just seems like a lot and it's putting a huge strain on our budget. ugh I hate being an adult. I don't feel like one
Yeah and if the house isn't well insulated it drives up the costs like crazy. I know because we have crappy thin walls and keeping the house cool during the summer is a constant struggle.Electric heat would definitely do that, especially if you keep it nice and warm.
we were through the winter because new baby and it's a mobile home so drafty as hell, but this last month we ran it about half as much and the bill was still just as high :/Electric heat would definitely do that, especially if you keep it nice and warm.
