So I'm in the middle at 21. And I assume that is an average of all hits you've done. Some could have done 10 and others 100. But at least I'm not at 40, and again, has the 40 something only completed 2 hits and one had something go wrong?Good to know, and now we kind of have a goal for how long to take to respond. I don't know how anyone could get 9 minutes consistently unless self paired or extremely lucky though. I would say most of mine take about 16-20 minutes though longer ones have taken 30 something. Or the stories that are harder to ask about/have less information to go on to even get to ten questions. And I like to strive for 20 if possible. I think the needing to skip around adds time as well. When I am answering for someone who continues to go in order, it is much quicker. Moving around can be time consuming on these longer more in depth stories. Appreciate your response

Yes, I have some great partners sometimes as well, no idea who though. And other times I am told I am wrong for asking a question that you have to infer because the answer is something else. And trying to explain just adds time.

Ah, this is turn reply time, in seconds. Say you take 60 secs on one turn, and the next turn 10 secs, avg is 35 secs. Yes, good point, if people have only done few, their averages don't give so much information. So I will discount for these.

Skipping around does add time, that's for sure, but if I can get a good read on a story fast enough I can lower that time. And, sometimes it's impossible to skip around, so I don't.

There was a requester at the start of the year, if I did the hits during the day, I did great, other turkers would review them, but later at night? Pfft. I would flunk out of the batch quickly.

I just did one of the $10 "Constructed Response" hits by "Heather" after catching it raw. 75 minutes. I think some of these are just sitting there waiting to be taken.

hmm, I thought later at night people have few distractions and should be faster, I am still figuring out the mindset of turkers .

At night (US time) is daytime in other countries. I wonder if people who are less fluent in English in those countries take longer and thus slow the HITs down at night (US time).

I paired with myself a few times last night, thats the only way I could get a decent rate

I see, I have restricted mine to English speaking countries, but I guess in that case US is better.
