I need something for the little red fuckers outside.

I just want to water my plants in peace.
MIL pours grits on their little ant houses (can't think of the right word at the moment) that usually runs 'em off for a few weeks.

The hits are flying gone. I see hits pop up and someone else gets them. Very low volume lately.

:( I don't have any help to offer. When this happened last year someone suggested some magic/fantasy sounding dirt that kills them but I dont' remember what it was.
something called something like seven dust probably. can find it at walmart but be careful of pets and kids

That's a no from me, dawg. Already seen 3 brown recluse in the past few weeks. I'm good in the spider department.
I have a few web weavers that pass thru and they are the only spiders I don't freak out when I see because they are big, but have such a distinct marking that I know them when I see them. Mind you, only the ones smart enough to stay away from Bearnie and his posse of kill-cats last for longer than 5 minutes here. I call one Alfred, and we have a tacit agreement that he stays away from me and hangs out in the spare room, eating bugs.

Bearnie legit hunts bugs for sport tho, and then eats them. Matt called me when I was on vacay, cause he saw the other 2 cats lamely following a moth around for awhile, and then Bearnie just came sprinting out to kill it and eat it. We should keep a kill tally for that little monster!

there are 2 that live in opposite ceiling corners of my shower. we also have an agreement that they don't venture down from the ceiling while I'm in there and in return, they can watch me shower.

See that's where you stop being the real jaded, because if I see a spider in the shower I scream like a tiny girl and have to put my clothes back on (twitching the whole time) and then run and get the broom, febreeze, goo gone, or whatever spray bottle I can get ahold of and murder the little [redacted]s

these ones are kind of like daddy long legs but smaller, idk what they're called though. they're the only spiders that I don't kill on sight. if one was crawling on/towards me, that's a different story. it kind of weird me out that they do turn and face me while I shower, though...

I know what you're talking about. I let them live here too, they're the friendly house spider. Don't worry if they come at you, they're just saying "Hi" and won't hurt you or the kiddo.

Also, this thread is great today! Off to the store myself. :)

s set the fire ants on fire but they just moved a few feet over.
I realized that maniacally seeking vengeance on tiny insects wasn't the best for my mental health. I still want them to die though. Or go to the neighbors yard.

I construe any insect crossing into my place as an act of aggression therefore react with appropriate force.

if a spider is crawling on me I seriously can't help it, I smack it before I even finish processing it's on me.
