I only get sleep paralysis if I sleep on my back, idk why. I mainly sleep on my stomach the past few years, so it hasn't happened in a minute, but it used to be a fairly regular occurance for me. Often accompanied with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploding_head_syndrome, and sometimes my body feeling like it was spinning on an axis.

Huh. That's exactly how mine happened now that you said that. I just remember looking up and being unable to move. Idk why I was sleeping on my back those times but I was for some reason. I never do that.

These movies are the ENTIRE reason I keep stuff stored under my bed. After watching people get stabbed from under the bed I freaked out the first time I got a bed that had empty space under there and started storing stuff under the bed (as a teen, when I saw these movies, I had a bed that had drawers under it so Jason or Freddy or no one could fit under there). Recently my cat was under there and made noise while I was in my bed and it scared the shit out of me.

Used to get sleep paralysis as a kid, fun times for a kid brain trying to deal with that shit.

Careful with sleeping on your stomach though, I had to stop because it puts a lot of stress on your shoulder joints and your neck, and I fucked up my right arm and shoulder pretty good from years of bad sleeping habits.
