Oh man, that's not what I wanted to hear. My PE is at $10 but it hasn't been that bad. I keep getting disqualified for surveys today. One I threw back because the survey was completely in video form, even the informed consent, and you can't click through until the video is done playing. No thanks.

Isn't that weird? I have caught everything today, but other days I read these posts with tears in my eyes. It's almost like playing a slot machine each day.

Did anyone read that Atlantic Monthly article "The Hell of Amazon Mechanical Turk" or something very similar to that? It pissed me off a little bit. I mean, I know it's not a perfect system and people who don't know what they're doing could end up with an extremely low hourly wage. But the article characterized it as some sort of on-line slave labor. I like Turking better than having a real job. I don't have a ton of bills. My rent is really low because I share a house with others. This fits me perfectly. The article portrayed it as some sort of ... IDK, like prostitution. It's really crazy.

most of those articles are trash
