I picked up on that. I looked at an index of their articles and they seem to have a heavy focus on "unfairly waged" work. And articles designed to make lament about the plight of undocumented immigrants. I don't want to start a political conversation here. That's not what I'm trying to do. But yeah that magazine is garbage.

Yeahhh. I consider myself still learning, so it's not too bad... plus I've watched almost all of Orange Is The New Black season 3 today so that's nice! Glass half full.

I do love seeing people with huge PE's, even though it makes me jelly, it's cool to see how things could turn out.

Did anyone read that Atlantic Monthly article "The Hell of Amazon Mechanical Turk" or something very similar to that? It pissed me off a little bit. I mean, I know it's not a perfect system and people who don't know what they're doing could end up with an extremely low hourly wage. But the article characterized it as some sort of on-line slave labor. I like Turking better than having a real job. I don't have a ton of bills. My rent is really low because I share a house with others. This fits me perfectly. The article portrayed it as some sort of ... IDK, like prostitution. It's really crazy.

If you've found this forum, then you are probably more informed about the tips and tricks of mturk than at least 75% of the overall users (of course I'm just assuming that number). Just because you don't identify with the article doesn't mean its not an accurate representation of the majority of users.

not just that magazine! the majority of articles written about money on mturk are people that only try it for a few days or a week and don't make much cuz quals and requirements and such.
