So, I was watching this documentary about the shootings at the University of Texas tower on Netflix the other day. Dude was up there a long time. Then random citizens starting showing up with rifles and started taking shots back at him up in the tower. That just seemed like the most Texas thing ever.

Slow week as I took several days off for vacation. But I made overall monthly goal for July and am so far on track for August (well, if I hit daily goal today I will be, but I'm skeptical that will happen, lol. I may have to work harder all next week to make up for a slow weekend).

That was an interesting case for many reasons! We studied this one in school because an autopsy found a tumor on his brain in an area that can affect impulses. He had "felt" something changing in him and even sought help for it before he did this (and killed other members of his family, as I know you know from the documentary!) but no one could really help him as the tools weren't there yet. It was a fascinating study for Psych students learning about violent impulses/actions.

(Side note, I'm disturbingly fascinated with killers...wish I'd taken the forensic psychology path in school!)
