Example: A gamergate supporter misght say something like: never forget #gamergate martyrs who were fired for standing up for the truth OR I cant help but notice that anti #gamergates favourite tactic is character assassination and defamation, Whereas a gamergate opposer might say: #gamergate only targets feminists and their supporters why i cannot know but it is true OR I call upon to take a stand against #gamergate by restarting their ad campaign Gamergate Background Information: The gamergate controversy concerns itself primarily on issues like sexism in video game culture. There are two main groups arguing around the Gamergate topic, namely the Gamergate supporters and the Gamergate opposers. Gamergate supporters targeted some female game developers, such as Zoe Quinn and Brianna Wu, along with some feminist critics like Anita Sarkeesian. The fight for ethics in journalism idea raised when Eron Gjoni, Zoe Quinn’s former boyfriend, wrote a disparaging blog post about her. After that, #gamergate hashtag users falsely accused Quinn of an unethical relationship with journalist Nathan Grayson. In response to the Gamergate supporters, Gamergate opposers think that Gamergate is a movement that mainly attack feminists and women in the gaming industry and think that Gamergate should stop since it does not really concern itself with its original porpuse being ethics in journalism. But, aren't we putting what the people actually themselves wrote? We aren't responsible for their viewpoint. I think this is where I bow out. Hopefully you just leave a TO. I know I have seen 1 person who said that he/she completed 150 without any rejections, I think it was @SherryNotShirley , perhaps this turker can offer insight on how to get 0 rejections. As it stands, I had 1 rejection and I am not personally willing to risk a rejection for any number of oddball reasons. I know that there were directions to follow, but if you follow them and still have these issues, the most we can do is refuse to work them again. Seeing the number of people who had a rejection from this requester, I think there will be quite a few getting a lions share of the work. But at a rejection rate of 1 in 40, I'll pass. This sounds like a surefire method to encourage cherry-picking, and also to discourage those who come to a batch late, where the only available hits are long af. Pay for these ranged from good to piss-poor, and that's with copying and pasting all of them. (2/52 rejected.)
edit: Here's belated feedback on one of my rejections, which has nothing to do with copy/paste and rather concerns a question of style not entirely clarified by the examples:
I understand your perspective. You have the crazy idea that you should be paid for your work. I share that delusion with you. I'll probably continue to cherry-pick and make as much money as I can off them until I get bored, or until the ratio of rejected to accepted work gets too irritating. But, aren't we putting what the people actually themselves wrote? I stopped after 15 just to see what they are like. No rejections or approvals yet.Avoid the "Can you perform this action in this scene?" batch HIT. Got 4 rejects from them so far and think I have 4 - 6 more still pending. Good thing I only did a small amount because they are a new requester and didn't want to mess up my approval rate anymore than that in case of rejections.
Got 40 rejections from the 'collect phone number' batch hits because I got the "sorry, something went wrong" when trying to view the phone numbers on craigslist. Would like to do those hit's, but can't because I keep getting the message. I'll randomly be able to see the numbers again a day or two later later for a small amount of numbers, then get the same message again. It's been a rinse and repeat since the 8th.
Maybe there's been an eSports scandal. What the hell is a gamergate?
All I see is an amazing hourly on this. Did a little reading on what is was and loving this batchWhat the hell is a gamergate?
