Thank goodness for this one! This has been a terrible week. In part, because I have been too busy to be able to get much time on mturk. For example, my grandmother with semi-dementia just called and we had an argument because we had to get rid of all of her furniture when she (recently) went into the nursing home. She is mad and confused and going to call the police. Most especially because she wants her microwave back.

That's crazy rough and probably not an appropriate emote, but I wanted to send you an internet hug. Dementia is no fun.

Thank you. I do appreciate it. It doesn't help that she has been a hateful and controlling individual for her entire life, so when you add in dementia she is just a ball of fun. Almost 96 and still going strong (kind of).

Oooho man sounds like my grandma. She was a monster. Luckily she wasn't too rough when she started to go mentally, but it started very early and she lived till her 80's. Mostly she was kinda... idk like a big child who was sort of rude to every single human ever. She told a woman that her husband "got what he deserved" b/c he died of an illness he didn't want to see a doctor for, for example. I feel you.

I hope I get to be rude like them when I get older and people just say "well, she's just old."
