They should typically be the same on the Internet, but not on your internal network.

So I'm not going to explain NAT to you since Moles gave you the link, but your router represents your entire network with a single IP address (most of the time, depends on what NAT) on the internet. Your internal network won't have the same addresses as that would cause a conflict. They are private addresses like: 192.168.1.57. Private addresses aren't reachable on the internet, so everything sent to you goes to the router IP address, and it hands all the info off to your computer. I went too far on this explanation, sorry

I was surprised that I could actually do these. I didn't get the qual for the other ones that everyone was doing a little bit ago.....but tis the way of the mturk *sigh*

I received an email from Netflix saying that there was a sign in to my account early in the morning from China. I went to Netflix and the only sign-ins that they show are from my IP address, and not for the time the email said. Do you think it was a scam email? I went ahead and signed out of all the devices and changed my passwords.....

I went to Netflix and the only sign-ins that they show are from my IP address, and not for the time the email said. Do you think it was a scam email? I went ahead and signed out of all the devices and changed my passwords.....

Look at the email address it is coming from and if it doesn't look like the official one, report it as a phishing attempt.
