This made me so mad. 40 minutes for $1.50 when the study says it should not take nearly that long. IMO, there is no way anyone could complete it quickly unless they're giving troll answers. Emailed the requester to ask they update their crap because it is super misleading.

I agree with you, like 50% of it is my fault.

But given the exact instructions (which I cannot provide here without survey content), the rest of the blame is on them. They created misleading instructions where they outlined an exact time and number of questions for completion.

Sometimes I am not comfortable returning after so much time spent, which isn't the requester's fault. Any other day I would have, but today I'm only at $4 after tons of wasted time on other HITs and some $ is better than no $ for my time... (which is again, not their fault.)

I'm sorry. You don't deserve my crankiness but I don't like taking all the blame given the specifics of the HIT, which you wouldn't know unless you accepted it yourself and looked at it like I did. I just wanted to warn other people who might not want to waste their time. Took the bullet. Moving on.
