You must have read the books, I have and believe it or not , have never even seen the movies. Just haven't got around to it yet, nothing against ,short stuff Cruise doing the part.
You're not missing all that much by not seeing the flicks, but they are a good "watch," particularly the first one.

I'm 5'6" in a family full of 5ft folks. I love all you shorter folks. Always wished I was shorter. No one ever seems to be happy with what they've got lol

well it ain't all fun, at least you can buy and try on clothes pretty much anywhere. I have to buy shit online and hope it fits. Shoes are a major pain in the ass
I just bought my kid a pair of running shoes. He's only 14 years old and his foot is already a size 12. I told him I was getting a little worried because after size 14 we will have a much more difficult time finding him shoes. I also told him to email his father and ask what size his foot is because I don't recall and I'm curious if my kiddo is destined to have huge feet. His foot has grown a size and a half in only 1 year.

Kiddo is not super tall, only 5'10" (almost I think, I have to measure again, he was 5'9" three months ago and he's grown since then) so I think he might finish out about 6'2".

I got 2 cousins who are 6'9" and 6'10", both wear size 18 shoes. I almost feel sorry for their wives...
