my dentist said i’m going to need a few crowns within the next 10 years. not looking forward to paying all that money. the teeth business (denistry) is insanely priced.

i dread the price more at this point than actually the cleanings, procedures, etc

I dread them both equally. Apparently I have a weird mouth that's really hard to numb so the dentist jabs the needle in my gums like 80 times and then I'm numb for 5 hours afterwards.

Ask your dentist to try a Gow Block. I think that's how it's spelled. I also have nerve issues (forget the term for it, but my nerves don't go the right way in the jaw). 50% of the time it works.

I got my tooth pulled earlier this year...dude game back and numbed me 5 freakin times and the last time he's like ok, you feel this? Yes, I can still kinda feel it. Apparently he didn't care cause he went ahead with it and I felt the pulling, he had to cut it out and shit too...it was awful. Hate that guy. But I got it pulled for 300 bucks so I guess that's what I get for using the discount doc.

every dentist ive been to cleans and operates pretty hard imo. like they scrape teeth hard. maybe im going to the wrong dentists

i floss and brush like crazy usually. and still they’ll make little critiques that i could improve. so i’m already expecting to be told to do both better today even though i’ve been doing it as best i can. i’m literally going to floss as best i can before i go this afternoon just to see if they say i need to floss better

Ouch! That sucks. The last dentist I went to before this, in 2008 (yes it's been a decade since I last saw a dentist because I hate them and they're expensive) ripped 4 teeth out of my head at once. I was sedated during the procedure but afterwards he told me to take ibuprofen. That was worse than when I had a c-section for each of my kids.

The price of dental work is ridiculous.

I spent over $12,000 fixing my mouth a few years ago. At the end of it all, I was getting a partial plate for a few missing molars/side teeth. I paid for it, but when I went back to get it, they needed more money (price was twice as much as they originally said) and I didn't have it. Never did get that partial plate. I had already spent all my dental work fund.

add a herniated disc that's pinching the nerve that runs down my left leg and ends in my big toe and it's a fiesta of fiery feet.....
but it's not all bad...at least Obumblecare made my medical insurance quadruple in 3 years so I can't afford it, doctors or medicine now.....

I know about herniated discs. Had one. Still affects me 30 years later, I think.
