I'm sad WGU doesn't have the Master's I need, since that pricing structure would be perfect for me. I have to sit tight and wait to turn 25 in order to go back anyway, since the FAFSA don't care that my parents haven't been claiming me for years now.

I think what I want to do when I grow up is get back into the horse industry, even part time moreso than I am now. That's all I've ever really wanted to do when I grew up.

mostly because I am a terrible recreational horseperson. I have no drive or goals. I have a horse that is the equivalent of a working K9 and he's such a destructive ass because I have no time to develop his skills this time of year while working full time and with the weather. He needs challenge and focus.

I spent from April until December playing every main Assassin's Creed game, in release order. I need a change. I decided to play Far Cry 4 as filler until I get Red Dead and all I keep thinking is that it is pretty much Assassin's Creed with modern artillery. Great game, but too similar to what I just spent 8 months playing.

Honestly, if you're at all interested in any trade, I'd look into going to trade school. My friends who went to trade school instead of college are all a lot better off than the rest of us. Financially, at least.

I've talked to a local IBEW rep. They don't offer the program I was originally interested in, so I still have yet to set up a time and discuss other programs with him, but its been in my mind.

Personally I would avoid online degrees, for the most part nobody takes them seriously.

I wish I had a decent community college option. But its an hour drive to any of the 3 in my area. I have to be home for my kids, so it really only leaves me a few hours each day for classes then.

my son's GF just had a baby. That daughter is re-married to a police officer, she works night in dispatch he works nights as well, so we watch her two kids 4 nights a week.
