Just cured myself of that earlier this year.

Had it for over a year. The pain is unreal, even when you're off your feet. Soooo glad it's gone. Now I do all I can to keep it from coming back!
Would love to know what you did to get rid of this. I get shots in my feet every 3 months now and have inserts. The pain is unbearable. Years of wearing heels.

One big part was I saw a chiropractor who specializes in the lower body. He has a tool that he would use on the foot to break up the tissue that was causing the pain and work out the ligament. That hurt like hell, but worked great. Plus inserts. Always inserts. Never wore any cute shoes for over a year. Always good heel and arch support (but not in the arch area where it hurt to be pressed on if that makes sense).

I also stretched. The calf muscles and the lower leg. That keeps from pulling on the sore area. Now I keep up the stretching and the (mostly) wearing of good shoes.

I also iced 2-3 times per day to lower inflammation. I rolled my foot on a frozen water bottle. And I did a foot stretch that is impossible to describe, and if I can find a video I will, but it was mostly holding the foot up at a right angle to the leg then rotating it in and out.

I would say inserts, stretching and icing were the big deals.

I had my son rub my foot often, too, and showed him how to rub the ligament (or whatever it is) to stretch it. I'm sure that helped a lot.

there's stretches you can do you using cans, standing on a stair with your heels handing off and raising you feet up and down, freeze a water bottle and rolling it under your arch of your foot.

Also, I'm so sorry it's this bad for you!

If it helps my bff also cured plantar fasciitis and she was to the point of needing shots. So it can be cured.

I had custom inserts made last year and they don't help much. It's gotten so bad now that its pulling on the top of my feet as well. I do the foot rolling witha tennis ball. Ugh

Try ice. Icing also helped the pain. Rolling on a frozen water bottle felt awesome. (I can't take anything but Tylenol for pain, nothing for inflammation, so it so sucked for me.)

I was having top of foot pain. I got customer orthotics and they hurt so much. I wore them 1 hour day one, 2 hours day 2, etc. On the fourth day I couldn't make it 8 hours. Woke up on day five and couldn't unbend my left knee. I couldn't walk at all that day. The next day I could hobble a little. Day 4 I went back to work, it was OK but it kept hyperextending and buckling constantly which hurt like fuck. It's a month later and it's just starting to feel normal.

Honestly one of the worst extended pains I've ever had, especially the first two days.

And my foot is still messed up. I'm pretty sure they made the orthotics wrong.
