I got approved a long time ago, but I still haven't done a single HIT for them. I take their screeners and most of them I get screened out. I think they used to post HIT on mturk as well, but got screened out on all of them as well.

I really think that a lot of times, they test the study in house. Get as many people on campus to do it for cash(who don't need a code as they just do it in Qualtrics or Surveymonkey). I think the last thing that gets integrated is the random code generator and, it rarely gets tested locally before it goes live on Mturk. I think that's why it happens. I'll usually send my screenshot to the requester email from the consent or instructions so they can see that they fucked up. They respond quicker to their school email address.

Usertesting? I signed up with them before, but whenever they send me emails and I clicked on them, the jobs were either taken or I didn't qualify. Are they that good? How do you do it?

for usertesting.com, you NEED to have a separate usertesting.com window open so you can always see when a test pops up. they go FAST! (within seconds most of the time) I joined in 2014. from 2014-2016 i got 1 test a day. from 2017 to now I've had really good ratings and gotten 3-7 tests a day.

lol i'm in the same boat. My bachelors degree in Fine Arts is about as useful to a resume as a felony conviction.

Mine is in psychology. And I got it last year...

But I'm going to be going back, probably for social work. Had no luck getting into PhD school, but the schools I applied to had less than 5% acceptance.
