We bought the throwback Nintendo for our kids, they beat one of the Kirby games the first day lol

LOL that is literally the only thing we got for xmas this year. FIL sends money (which we love the most) SIL sent us an SNES and sausage.

I've been wanting the Nintendo since it came out, but has been so hard to get a hold of. The Super Mario Bros. is just sheer nostalgia for me.
Money is always a good thing!

Just a quick update:

• All HITs that were rejected either today or yesterday have switched over to being set as Approved. This affected about 50 workers in total.
• If you applied for the mTurk Crowd qual earlier and were initially rejected but are now approved, do not assume that you will be getting the qualification. The 40 people who met the criteria will be issued their qualifications by the end of the day (hopefully).
• After all qual's have been issued out, I'll be posting a "Where are you?" HIT for those of you who have attained the qualification. Even if you've previously done the "Where are you?" HIT, feel free to do it again. There will be exactly 40 HITs made.

For Christmas, besides the Nintendo, most of what I got was gift cards. I'm not a big fan of them, but I got two $50 Amazon gift cards. Not trying to complain, but with the mturk money flowing through there I had no need for them, but still. And I got a shit ton of restaurant cards: Starbucks (which I don't care for, and actually got rid of yet another Starbucks card in the white elephant exchange), Applebees, two cards for Maggiano's, Harry and Izzy, O' Charley's, and I think another one or two.
Every year it seems everyone wants gift cards or wants to give them out.
