Thank you for all the effort involved in taking this on! (And to the rest of the admins/staff for keeping things going...)

I feel like we dodged a bullet and things were more precarious than I realized

Honestly this wasn't a situation where the staff needed someone immediately, but had they not found someone a few months down the road then it could be a different story. He isn't very involved with the place so just giving up could have been an option for him.

I wouldn't have went to such length to describe him but I think everyone deserves a bit of transparency behind all this. I will try to keep everyone updated with how things are going.

being a relative noob (10th day on Mturk so I'm probably just starting to walk and 220 or so HITS submitted)

I've taken two surveys that say they might contact me if there is a followup survey. Will I have to snag them when posted as a HIT or will the requestor contact me through MTurk with a HIT link privately if they choose me to do a followup survey?

they will send you a small bonus payment via email along with instructions for the hit.
You will have a qual to take it (others won't)....if they set it all up as they should!
