I was mostly just living off savings last year. I only made like $8k from mturk, and most of that was because we had like 6 months straight of barcodes posting every day and lots of ocmp5 batches.

In general though, when I am turking full time, I would say that surveys make up probably around 20% of my income.
holy shit. I aspire to one day be able to live off my (currently nonexistent) savings

It was just a disbursement that I thought I would never see from an old job that I had. I had actually planned to save most of it, but I had some stuff come up last summer and I had to spend it all on medical bills. So here I am, broke again.

I just started using HIT Forker yesterday, but I don't think it's that. I think what could be a problem is my clicking ACCEPT on HITs off of the forum and maybe that request is happening at the same time as the requests PC are making. Or it is HIT Forker and I have no idea what I'm talking about. Thank you for taking the time out to reply, Jerami. You're always so helpful.
Do you have this?

I don't think it says it in the description (and maybe you already use it? If so please ignore) but this should add buttons onto all the exports here that will let you add them directly to PC instead of going through MTurk to try and catch them (which, even for exports w/ live thread update, is kinda unlikely nowadays). Integrating them into PC's cycler will help cut down on the # of conflicting page request attempts, though you'll have to clean up PC itself more often.

I do have that. I have no idea why I do some of the things I do, but clicking accept has clearly got to stop. :hilarious: I guess I have lucked up before and I think I can get away with grabbing a hit this way because I've convinced myself that adding another hit to PC is not the way because I already have too many (not turned on at once) I did change HIT Forker from 1 to 1.5 so maybe that will help. I've been turking for two years and I think I'm getting worse at it. :bag:

That place that your parents tell you they put imaginary money for your future. Don't worry. I think they disappear when you turn 18.:)
i did have one underage actually lol, used it for college (my bio dad died, mom saved his social security intelligently) but I haven't had one since yeaaah.

This month i have been attempting to only spend out of my checking and not use my credit card. but that has left me flat broke and had to use my credit card for the doctor and the medicine on monday.
