See I've heard people say that, but I've never had an issue with the floors getting cold. Been here for three years at this point.

I notice a difference when they go to work (b/c I stay home all day) but the simple fix was wearing slippers.

I also have a house rabbit and she makes dust and stuff all over so carpets isn't aren't great.

I've just got the dogs, so I get to watch them slide around the floors sometimes.

I don't live in an apartment, I live in a suburb of KC Missouri and it's a house.....3 br, finished basement and a loft room...it's about 2100 sq feet.

My 750 sq foot apt is 1060/month, and it's cheaper than the rest in the complex b/c it has hardwood floors instead of carpet. Idfk why they charge more for carpet. It'd be 1160 with carpet.

You can spend that much on a room here and not even get your own bathroom.

We have carpet right now but with two kids and 3 dogs, plus my daycare dogs it is impossible to keep clean. We are switching to hard floors

I'm using a clean cloth diaper as my elbow rest and the great thing about that is it's not only comfy, I can mop up the few drops of coffee I keep spilling without having to get up :thumbup:

HAHAHA!! Yeahhh our rent in our area is basically the cheapest around with having a bathroom + kitchen so I'm pretty happy with it. Lort it's hard to live near a city!
