Well, so, what is that answer? (asking for a friend)As a UK pharmacist, unqualified in the US, I hear you. Overqualified for so much, underqualified for the job I have done for the last 20 years. I struggle not to 'turn my nose up' at the other jobs.
But if you've decided that is what you are applying for, you can't think of them as crap jobs. Employers will pick that up in a flash.
I know exactly what my answer to "why are you applying for this (menial/basic/minimum-wage) job that you are severely overqualified for?
I can answer, being honest, sounding sincere and not like a lunatic.
workhorse computers, they seem to not want to die, at least from the ones I have owned, am running a Dell Optiplex 755 now that is a 2008So I found a pretty well priced Dell computer that isn't an all in one...how do you all feel about Dells? I've never owned one of those.
would you take a bribe if you thought you'd never get caught? something perhaps the universities ought to ask themselves ...

My current PC is a Dell manufactured in 2011 that I bought for 50 bucks from the county a couple of years ago when they upgraded all their office computers and sold off their old ones. Dells are cheap, but they're pretty tank-y; they're essentially designed to run 24/7 in dusty office buildings across the world. I upgraded mine by throwing 10 bucks of RAM into it along with a 40 dollar video card. I've left it running for the past two years 24/7 and game on it heavily, and have never had an issue, not even a crash. So I found a pretty well priced Dell computer that isn't an all in one...how do you all feel about Dells? I've never owned one of those.
Boy, does my system feel old now - my computer of courseThese are the specs...
Processor & Memory:
- 8th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-8400 Processor 2.80GHz
- 12GB 2666MHz RAM + 16GB Intel® Optane Memory
Just trying to figure out if that is a solid deal...that's 850.
Is that brand new? Either way, that price seems really high... I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a computer, but personally, there's no way I'd pay that much. These are the specs...

Yea it's new...the bad thing is that is for a tower and monitor...I saw ones with slightly better specs that were 1000 for just a tower. Is that brand new? Either way, that price seems really high... The allure of buying a brand new Dell computer is the fact that you're getting a pre-built and you don't need to worry about the nuts and bolts of putting together a system yourself. A faster computer that is just as reliable could be built for half the price or less, but you'd spend time researching parts, buying them all seperately, and then putting everything together yourself.Yea it's new...the bad thing is that is for a tower and monitor...I saw ones with slightly better specs that were 1000 for just a tower.
