I took a nap and came back to see that I missed a bunch of tax talk. When I was a kid my dad had a job that didn't give him tax forms and he decided not to pay taxes for a few years because he assumed that if he didn't get the form he didn't have to pay. It did not turn out well. The IRS came to the house and "helped" him do his taxes (they randomly audit so many people a year and his name came up) and it took him years to pay off how much he owed....well, actually they just took what he owed....
...and I wanted to add that if someone has your social security and they file that they gave you money (like Amazon does) and the IRS checks it against the tax returns and you aren't there, it won't take them long to figure it out.
