Using "they" as a singular isn't really all that strange. We do it all the time when we're talking about unknown people. It's only when we're talking about a specific person that we get caught up in the grammar of they/them. I say cast off these shackles and embrace "they/them/their" for those who prefer it.

you misunderstand. We do use those but they suck as identifiers. There should be something better and not "Ju ah" it should at least sound like the word looks if you expect it to get any traction in the general population.
