Unfortunately facebook still allows friends to see that you commented on a photo/page. I've seen comments from some of my friends on adult-content stuff (e.g. dildos, anal beads) and when I click on it, their comment isn't there. I feel like I'd need more money to deal with that, especially since my family is also on facebook lol.
