Real up market, huh...It was once......but it does have a distinct advantage over other phones. When a hurricane shuts down the power, my phone still works--no charging involved.

Ah, the olden days of phones that plugged into the wall and were party lines, 4 cent postage stamps you had to lick, and 5 cent coke in funny shaped glass bottles that was unquestionably just a soft drink....I'm old. Damn......the cokes were better, though.

Yeah, I remember that vaccine. It was a series of shots and was very questionable. But they were desperate to stop what was an epidemic.

When I was around 4 they had the last big epidemic in Kansas City and my parents locked my brother and me in the yard and we weren't supposed to go to the fence to talk to anybody . . . needless to say we didn't go to any public place that entire summer.
