Requesters, as a whole, should reject more often than they do, then there would be less people scamming HITs = better reputation for mturk = more work = more $_$

Micro necro here, but it does seem the "mTurk ecosystem" is out of balance for whatever reason. Fear of botting has hurt, actual botting has hurt, laziness has hurt (on all sides) and not many people are making enough money - I do wonder what the turnover so far this year is but I bet it's high.

I don't know that I have a really good set of suggestions but maybe requesters need a Turkerview/TO setup - Or given the nature of that market. Amazon just needs a better worker rating system than rejections, which are horribly low-resolution.

Edit: Also masters/non-masters is a pretty low-resolution measure.

Keep trying. I know someone that also lost their qual with that recent qual batch and they were able to get through to her. It's like dealing with MTurk, I think. You have to be really, really persistent.

So are the working Johann's the rejects? I don't feel confident with some of these.

I think only the Masters ones are getting rejections. I know that I looked at mine through MTS Hit Tracker because I could see the actual hit and I can't figure out why I would have gotten a rejection at all on 4 of the 6 rejections I have so far. They had clearly separated, obvious math lines.

Some ppl are saying it had to do with how long you took to complete the hit

It is actually a searchable list - but still 3000 or so items on the list for 6 cents - that's poop!
