Weird. Looking at the hit right now in MTS. My numbers are different from what people are saying. I wonder if they changed the test when they reposted this afternoon?

If that's the case, that would suck if my score doesn't count.

They didn't repost this afternoon.

They posted last night and very early this morning, but for some reason the test link was still floating around long after the HITs were gone, so everyone has been doing it.

I understand people being annoyed at not getting paid for work completed, but I don't imagine group meltdowns on this forum make the best impression on requesters.

I guess we're not seeing the same posts. Saying that it'd suck to not get paid it isn't melting down. Everyone is very calm, considering what a mess it is.

They were posting compensation HITs for people that emailed them initially, then they just started assigning bonuses instead.

I'm not melting down, I'm doing 13 cent Audiokites because I need to pay rent and I made $7 in 4 hours.

Yes, I'm not happy I put work into a long qual test and it was taken down before I submitted it. I think that's the correct reaction.

If there's a probelm where they can't limit qual access that should probably be addressed in some fashion, would probably reduce disappointment all around.

Yeah the tennis gifs are just for you really heh. And yeah this week has been slow, but i think we both did extra well last week so it pretty much evens out. I'll be happy to get to $500 this week.

It was a misunderstanding on their part of how the Mturk qualification system works.
They are trying to get their data as clean as possible and that's difficult when you have 100s or even 1000s of workers.
Can't monitor them all.
They only meant to qualify 100 people originally.


HITs have been gone for a long time and they've been paying through bonus since then.

Well, time to use a little of that thinking ability . . . If you’ve qualified too many people then you assign the qualifications and release your hit in groups . . . 100 to the first qualified group, 100 to the second qualified group, etc., etc.

Anywhere between 7-8am, i like to *try* to get $10 in before i get up to fix breakfast, seems like it sets the pace for the rest of the day to go well, lol idk, my own weird mturk ritual i guess.
