They are spending millions of dollars to extend the school year for some schools with poorly performing students 10 days -- starting the 2019-2020 school year 10 days early -- and many in the city are wondering why because they say the first 10 days will probably be wasted instead of being used as useful educational days and will 10 extra days in the school year actually help the performance of the kids?

Your info seems to indicate a lot of waste and non-education can happen in about 10 days.

Oh don't get me wrong - my boys school district started before labor day this year so they've already been in school for a long time! lol

Geez We started after Labor Day and went til mid June. And there were no spring breaks or long holidays. We went to school on most small holidays, like Veterans Day. I remember coming home from school on Christmas Eve, looking forward to helping my mom decorate the tree and make eggnog. I didn't know there was such a thing as Spring break until I got in UT....That was about 50 years ago, though.

and that's weird for you to start before labor day?

The school district here starts usually mid-August and ends sometime in the week before memorial day depending on how many snow days are needed that week with it being rare to need days after memorial day.

with the 10 schools or so starting early starting in 2019-2020 school year,, it means starting around August 1st and going to just before Memorial Day.

if it looks like you put in effort to do a good job, I doubt you will see any rejections from your work.

I wish they had a better instructional guide to doing these tasks rather than just a few photos that don't explain what you are seeing (coral) or missing photos (white blood cells) because it's hard to imagine a lot of people coming across the tasks are experts in coral or blood chemistry to be able to do a good job for them without more or less random guessing without training.

I have a bunch still pending from yesterday. I have never done this requester before then.
I was a little nervous to keep going with them and not being sure.

I've done thousands, no rejections, so I feel safe doing their tasks.

I don't feel right doing these particular two because I pride myself on good honest effort and don't want to give this requester potentially bad data if I don't know what I"m doing. I'll just screw my PE today and wait for other batches to show up that I can confidently do.

Circle Pay :

Been using this with Prolific. Worked for several months, since I switched from Paypal. The fees are half, and Circle is free for transfer to bank account.

TODAY.... they wanted to verify my ID, beyond the 2 bank deposits in small amounts, initially, months ago.

Their phone app, would NOT read the ID images... I've wasted about 1.5 hours and finally got my images approved. It kept hanging on the barcode on the back of your license. It refused to recognize it. Maddening.

So... I have been grooving on Circle so far. But this "oh yeah we suddenly need scanned state license or passport, and a live selfie, and it has to be live, if you send scanned image jpgs, we won't verify you..."...
not a good start to Friday morning. It's all verified now. There were many curse words.

Some report they can take weeks to verify, when they ask for additional ID. FYI.
