not really. I made about $22,000. the taxes are a lot higher than for some people because I don't have a kid. I plugged in the numbers if I had a baby. the tax would drop to $120.00. from $4,500 to $120.
yeah but youd probably be spending way more money on that :baby: than taxes

but you'd spend way more than $4,500 over the course of a year raising a kid
at $22k a year i think that qualifies for some financial assistance. some states practically take care of all the costs associated with raising a kid. of course they'd probably not let you adopt on that income.

yeah I checked it out. I would get hundreds a month in food stamps, free medicaid, cash assistance, you name it. plus almost free taxes. the temptation is real lol. that's not me though.

Yeah and the only way to recoup that cost to is to ruin their lives and make them child actors. You can go the athlete route too but that's much less of a sure thing.

you could probably get some of those assistances without the baby though on what you make especially after your taxes. if that's not your thing then much respect. i wouldn't blame ya though :p

Makes you appreciate what you have and are able to do for your children. Most of you seem young and possibly have only been on your own a short while but you can somewhat see what your parents were able to do. If they were able. I didn't have much growing up so I am extremely grateful for what my husband and I were able to do with ours. We still help them now while they are in college.
