First morning, daughter comes downstairs at 9:27 (I am in car honking)
Second morning, daughter comes down at 9:25 (I am in car, livid)
Third morning, daughter comes downstairs at 9:25 and I am at computer. She says 'you are not ready.' (I am, just refuse to wait in car). Big Fight ensues.
Fourth morning - finally remorseful - she is ready early. Steps on broken glass. Blood everywhere. Chaos. Tears. Horror.

lol me too! she was like so happy that day and did great. the rest of the year she had all kinds of anxiety for different reasons but that first day was much easier on her than it was for me! and right now i'm like YOU ALL NEED TO GO TO SCHOOL LIKE RIGHT NOW.

Aw, hopefully she doesn't feel anxious much anymore. I'm a crazy ball of anxiety and I do all I can to keep her from feeling any of it, but that's not reality. A little every now and again is normal. I think I do all her worrying for her, lol. She loved pre-school so hopefully she continues to love school in general. Her best friend's mom and I requested the same kindergarten teacher back in May so luckily our girls get to be in the same class this year. Her little friend ambushed her when we walked in. It was adorable.
