I'll just stick to mturk and learn forex on the side for free than rather go to pay a group to learn even if she is a good friend.

You mean the emails where they beg me to do the hits that they don't deem me talented enough to do? Yeah, if I didn't get emails from OCMP, my inbox would be empty. I have written them back and offered suggestions as to how they might improve the project, but they don't have a qual hit for that.

I would straight up ask her what leverage she is trading and how much she started her account off with. if she is using anything other than 10-to1 or less with less than 10,000 in her account than I would stay away from whatever group is giving her advice to do other wise

Ok so I asked her, and her trading leverage is 1:1000.
She started her account with $50 dollars.
She went with 0.01 lot sizes and then went up from there.
