04/12 - Trifecta Tuesday!

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, but I've been Turking for a while. I have a quick question for anyone who uses Hit Scraper. Since the latest update, I can't seem to customize my background color. I have it set to Solarium: Dark with all of my custom colors applied, and all of them are working - except the background color. It's fine when I run it in Firefox, but it doesn't work in Chrome (which is definitely the browser I prefer).

So! Anyone know how to fix it? Having a white background is driving me nuts. Thank you ahead of time for any help!

Did you double check its updated to the latest?

Yep, definitely. Just made sure last night. I had a similar problem in Chrome before the latest update as well, but there was a way around it. Because of how they changed the theme editor this time, though, I can't see a way around it.

Can't say what others are doing because I haven't been on any other forums in a long time, but I can remember one in particular where the members didn't seem very helpful and if anything they really didn't seem happy for others when they did well. I really can't see how people can be happy and be in that kind of environment. but anyways I ain't got time for all that.

I have a few friends that I PM on there who don't want to go to another forum. They have a lot of resources that could help any turker, but that only matters if the people there are actually willing to help someone. Plus we have clickhappier here so that's an automatic win.

Absolutely, I went in really not expecting much. Hell I didn't even watch the first season until this year because I was so sure it was going to be disappointing, but it has been a great show. Specially in the second season where it has really become its own show with its own pace, not longer being simply a BB spinoff. Can't recommend it enough.

I just tested on Chrome and I can change the background color. Are you changing it by the settings?

Really?! My sister is having the same issue, as well, so I don't get it. And yeah, we go into "Settings>Appearance>Solarium: Dark> add all of the custom colors. Everything but the background color changes. It's so weird.

I have no idea. The first version of Hitscraper that I used had options for different background colors. I've updated several times, and as far as I can tell the version that I'm using now (faihlty?) doesn't offer that option. Again, I have no idea how to solve your problem. I just did't want you to feel that you weren't being heard. I would suggest that you post your question earlier in the day when some of the experts are around.
