I ate the apple cake without taking a pic, so maybe at breakfast tomm :p

As for now, I have made this countless times in the past few days since I've been off caffeine for a bit;

the blog I got it from calls it (rather ridiculously I think), a 'superfood latte' - really it's just your milk of choice (I used cashew) warmed and blended with molasses and spices. I am sipping one right now and it's helping clear up my stuffy nose.

Roasted broccolini, sweet potatoes, onions and kale with spiced chickpeas and tahini sauce - I thought it was delish - husband hated it. Can't win 'em all :)

I love how much ramen you eat. But not in the 'I eat a lot of ramen' way. It's awesome. When you do a 'test' batch are you still cooking a full amount of stock? do you save it for later?

Usually test batches are enough for about 4 servings, so I can store some and skim the fat and try different ratios or broth and tare and salt.

for the party I think I need 30 or so people though...

Mythbusters is having a food-themed episode tonight (first airing right now)... "Cooking Chaos", featuring "cannon-fried shrimp and an explosive tomato smoothie". Thought the food thread readers might enjoy it. :D If you can't catch the whole episode, they have a photo gallery, a video trailer, and 5 more video clips available.

Homemade burrito bowls AKA the best thing ever; chicken thighs roasted with homemade taco seasoning, 'refried' beans done in the electric pressure cooker, lime rice, avocado, cheese, sour cream, mango salsa, pico de gallo, red beans, romaine, green onion, sriracha mayo, hot sauce (tapatio), and salsa verde. Pretty much everything AND the kitchen sink.

That looks so good! I made burrito bowls two nights ago. I use chorizo, black beans, salsa, green onions, and cheese of course. I had bought avocado as well but they weren't ripe enough.
