Getting one of the highest paying requesters on Mturk suspended would be pretty honestly.

I won't feel bad for making a requester treat everyone correctly. He can offer the same HITs without screwing people.

44 minutes for $45

Or around $60/hr

People take rejections way too seriously. In essence he wasted 3-4 minutes of your time. That is annoying -- but not worth getting the guy suspended over.

If he was rejecting people in a 45 minute survey I would be less forgiving.

I've just been around for a while and have seen the pattern of a requester posting good HITs, rejecting a few people, getting bitched at, and then completely disappearing.

He didn't reject a few people. He rejected almost everyone. And yes I will bitch at everyone who ignores the rules to make their lives easier at my expense. I don't take rejections too seriously. I take people rejecting me rather than paying me seriously.

I think you're missing the big picture but I'm not going to convince you so

Chance of Amazon doing anything about anything is minuscule anyway.

I don't know if anyone here has any use for something like this, but I made sort of a userscript version of NiftySplit. The difference is that you can select a link or some text in a HIT and it will remember the element that you selected, so it will automatically open a new popup for every HIT instead of requiring you to click a link each time like NiftySplit does. Selecting text will open a Google search for that text, but due the variations in HIT layouts that's going to be a lot more hit or miss than clicking a link. Anyways, might be helpful to some maybe, if NiftySplit annoys you like it does me?

You're right. I'll never accept people screwing me for their convenience. I don't care about the money. I don't care about the time. I care about people being douchenozzles when there's no reason for it. He could ACTUALLY BE A GOOD REQUESTER. Instead of you thinking he is.
