My QB Big Ben was a top 3 fantasy QB last year...

he was shit in his first game

injured in his next game.

i play a bunch of shitty QBs in his place and have little luck.

last week I start Gardner Minshew since he hadn't had a bad game. He got me 5 points.

I traded my good RB Josh Jacobs for Matt Ryan, who has been the top fantasy QB up to this point

Josh Jacobs has an amazing game this week.

Matt Ryan gets me 3 points and gets injured, and his backup QB promptly drives down the field and scores a TD.

At the end of the day fantasy is all about luck. Yes you can try and draft well and sometimes that does work. But you can’t control injuries. You can’t control how these players feel on a weekly basis. You can’t control what play calls the coaches are going to run, etc. A coach can drastically change the play calling on a week to week basis based on the situation.

some people argue that fantasy sports is not gambling, but I beg to differ. It is gambling. All it is is the same guessing game.
