Darn, I thought I had an old flash drive around but no . . . had to do a gift card order from Amazon to get one because I need it to boot up the new hard disk, so to get the order up to $25 to qualify for free shipping I had to get a bunch of other stuff (I got a 64 GB from the warehouse for next to nothing). I ordered really mundane stuff except I decided to add my Xmas present to me, a silk sleep mask for those weekend afternoons when I really would like to take a nap but the daylight makes it difficult. I'm excited about it.

Amazon has 16oz bags of Wonderful Pistachios, Roasted and Salted for $6.96 by the way.

Well, hope everyone's doing well. Been gone a little bit, was in the hospital for a month, unconscious for two weeks, couple of major surgeries, had to keep my ribcage open for three days, and I'm still recovering, *and* I have to carry batteries around and plug into the wall at night...

...but I'm still alive!
