Finally got a reply from Amazon about my account being flagged...

"Thank you for your patience while we reviewed the warning we sent to your Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) Worker account. Upon review, our investigations team determined that the appropriate action was taken. Per our initial email, your account was flagged for using robots, scripts, or other automated methods as a substitute for your human intelligence and independent judgment, which violates Section 3(b) of the MTurk Participation Agreement.
MTurk is a marketplace for completing tasks by exercising human intelligence. We take this seriously, so if you continue this prohibited activity to complete HITs in the future or otherwise fail to make a conscientious effort to provide complete and accurate responses for the HITs you submit, your account will be suspended without further warning. "

This is so frustrating and unfair. I have literally never, in my 6 or so years of working on mturk, used and automated method to complete HITs. Not once. So the fact that they are accusing me of this and think they have taken the appropriate action is scary. They can just shut down our account for no reason. I am a single mom and this is the only means of income I have right now. It would be devastating to my situation if they randomly suspended my account.

I enjoy these. I was wondering if we can do more than one myself. The one I did was acting odd, though. I clicked submit twice after having to check if the code was accepted and nothing happened. Then the only thing on the screen was the red Endor warning. I closed the HIT, re-opened it and it auto-submitted and mturk said it was successful. I sent a message anyway. I should have asked if we can do more than one.

I'm assuming you refreshed your dashboard before checking? I just checked mine and the hourly was off the charts. It said I only had it opened for six seconds. I'm glad I wrote to the requester, because even with the proper code, six seconds is absurd. lol
Hopefully you get this sorted out though.

Yeah, seems like something is broken from all the reports. Hope they a) got the data and b) pay the workers (example: me).

Thanks much. I just reloaded Chrome and everything is spiffy again. But, I'll keep that thread in mind if it ever happens again. It must be from me doing some HITs on my phone. I dunno.

Oh yeah probably that. I do various things using both Chrome and Firefox. I used to keep Panda Crazy in Firefox and I started getting that issue. I finally moved PC to Chrome and have never had the issue again. If I'm using my phone or tablet, I start any hits in Firefox on that and finish in the same because I can use scripts in Firefox on those devices so I never start on one thing and finish on another anymore.

Probably not...just one per batch for all of what I've seen so far.

I was only able to do one. I'd love it if they'd let you do more.
