How does one join a usergroup and is there a list of them somewhere?

A forum usergroup or something else?

We use usergroups on the forum to assign permissions and banners and stuff to people. For example: donating to the forum, winning an award, volunteering to be a mentor or staff, etc would get you put in those specific usergroups, each of which comes with its own banner and permissions.

There's also a SwagBucks usergroup, which doesn't get you a banner or anything, but it allows you to receive the swag notifications. For that one you just have to ask and we'll include you in it.

Yeah, almost all of the ones that we have are for awards, donations, or volunteering in some way. The only real opt-in one that we have is that swag one. If you have any suggestions for others like that, that we could maybe add, we'd be happy hear them.
