What are things I won't do for a dollar, Alex?
I try to donate portions of my bonus if I'm doing well that day and I actually care about the cause it is asking to donate to.I never donate through HITs. I don't know what you guys all do? Is there a poll coming on?
Greetings from Amazon Mechanical Turk,
You've received a bonus from Dylan Pieper for work.
The value of your bonus is: $0.25 USD
The Requester included this note:
Hello:
Thank you for participating in my research. Everyone in the study has been granted a 25 cent bonus to an issue matching worker IDs with responses. If you indicated that you want to donate the 25 cents, the researcher will match that amount. In total, we raised $39 to donate to the Sierra Club Foundation.
Cheers,
Dylan.
It depends on the bonus amount and what portion of it they will let you donate. If it is a decent bonus and they let you share a portion of it, I'll usually split it with them. The way I look at it, I wasn't entitled to that money to start with, so why not share it with a charitable organization. If the bonus is like 10 or 15 cents, I'll usually just let them have it. I don't count bonuses toward my daily goal, so if I give some of the bonus money to charity it isn't like I am hurting myself. It happens so infrequently anyways, it's not like I am giving up tens of dollars a day to charity.I never donate through HITs. I don't know what you guys all do? Is there a poll coming on?

clearly it can't be a wretched Wednesday because you survived the supposed "World's Largest Matanza" last weekend!Happy? Wretched Wednesday!
I try to split it with them. Seems only fair.I try to donate portions of my bonus if I'm doing well that day and I actually care about the cause it is asking to donate to.
How often those two line up together though is a different story...
weeding out bots possibly ?I've always wondered, what's with these long-ass completion codes (always presented on a red background)? E.g.,
