I was happy to get this survey on Prolific that paid $5.00 initially and is part of a longitudinal study.
"You are being invited to participate in a study about COVID-19 and related attitudes and behaviors. This survey is part of a larger study looking at how people assess risk, make decisions about the management of their risks, and cooperate to help others who may be at risk. Specifically, this questionnaire is designed to collect information on how you respond to the risk of catching an illness/disease. If you choose to participate, you will be presented with a series of questions about how you think about risk in different situations. This survey is part of a longitudinal study, thus if you choose to participate in this survey you will be invited to participate in future surveys once per month. We anticipate this survey to take between 30 and 40 minutes to complete. Please note that most future versions of this survey will be much shorter than the first. Only participants who are 18 years of age or older and speak English fluently will be allowed to participate."

Hello everyone, I have been in contact with Prolific (and many of you) about an ongoing issue. I only published one study, but apparently Prolific published two. Many of you took the survey twice, I am really sorry for wasting your time, which is counterproductive for you as workers and for us as researchers. There was only one study, and only one study should have been available. Many more people than we requested were also able to take the study. By default, Prolific does not allow you to request more participants than one can afford, it just simply shows you an error message. Currently, more people have enrolled than we can afford, and that we requested. Again, it's impossible to request more people that one has available balance in their prolific account as a researcher. I have contacted Prolific on how to resolve this issue, but until then, I cannot approve participation until I hear back from Prolific. Many apologies for the inconvenience and I greatly appreciate everyone's time in taking our study.
