Morning all.
I have been working mturk for about 5 years. I averaged about 4 rejections a year. In the last 2 months, I have gotten 6. I can afford the rejections but if this is the way some requesters are getting, I have to wonder how the newer turkers are doing. I never begrudged the ones I knew I deserved. I am not perfect but anyone else feel the requesters are not as fair as they were. Or am I getting to old.

I usually send them a message if their reasoning why is vague, asking for more information on the matter. Sometimes its an error on their end and they will reverse it. But there are some requesters that are just rejection happy no matter what you do in the study,

Yes, I send a message. I just wondered if anyone else had noticed an increase in rejects or if it was just my turn for bad luck after such a long streak of good luck. Guess I won't play the lotto at this moment.

Hard to say what I average myself.
I got 450 in one year, 300 on one batch.
695 total.

She's kinda like that.

We moved across the country 'bout 2 months ago.
It's crazy she's only 3 but she's been to more states than I had been to by the time I was in my late 20s.
She did well on the trip. Got her a tablet. Played games most of the time. Wanted to visit a lot of landmarks and stuff but with covid we didn't get to do too much.

i'd be curious too as I've been at this for 4 years with a bit of a hiatus this year. I do see a lot more requestors with piss poor reviews than I recall seeing in the past so it tells me there are more reject happy requestors out there. There have been a few egregious examples over the last few weeks posted in this very forum. I have a grand total of 99 rejections, almost all of which were in the first couple years of me trying to get my numbers up (typing tasks, etc) and a couple dozen from a political candidate info update batch from 2016 that I never bothered to try to get reversed. Seems a big part is students just not caring. I'm fairly certain most are using the results they get whether they reject the AMT hit or not. Hopefully turkers are reading the reviews posted on TV and TO. That always helps avoid them.
