yea there have been times were I got a crappy phlebotomist and then everything was fucked after that. Your veins/the tube will clot if they get a bad stick and then it draws slow etc so it just depends on if you get a good phlebotomist or not. Once someone messes up on me I make sure I don't get them again

You can cut the background noise down a lot by sliding a can coozy over your mic and speaking into it like you are playing telephone with two soup cans and a string. You can also cut it down some by making a cone out of cardboard or some such and sliding it over the mic.
