My dad showed me Pink Floyd's The Wall when I was a kid and the cartoons part of it really fucked me up. I was like cartoons are supposed to be funny and silly wtf is this. I've loved Pink Floyd ever since.

My dad showed me Pink Floyd's The Wall when I was a kid and the cartoons part of it really fucked me up. I was like cartoons are supposed to be funny and silly wtf is this. I've loved Pink Floyd ever since.

Sometimes I takes a while for the lessons to sink in. As cliche as it is to say, I've loved Dark Side of the Moon for years and years and as I've grown up I've come to identify with different parts of the album. It always reminds me of my dad when I listen to them.

Ok. So this is weird. Dark Side of the Moon is what I used to listen to when I did my geometry homework. I got like a 108% in that class!

I am legit crying happy tears because it means I don't have to ask my mom for grocery money while we wait for unemployment and husband's first check from his new job.
