Omfg, I loved those books.

Oh my god! I remember those, but I do not recall a starfish girl.

It was a bit of a letdown because most of the book it's her laying at the bottom of the ocean filtering sediment through her mouth. But there were gnarly action scenes when the tide receded and she was exposed to the air.

On the topic of animorphs.... After the show we were looking to get into trouble and there was a hustler and a gentleman's club right by our hotel (and we didn't even stay in a shady part of town. Without getting too graphic we had to go to hustler, as we always do when traveling (whatever, call us weirdos.) They had something that would allow one the appearance of having a rainbow colored my little pony tail. My friends called me over to ask WTF like I'm the expert on such things. Hey, I read... I keep up with the times, man.
