Tell that to the hundreds of people who messed up. It is human nature to make mistakes or to do something over and over without changing to only find out the hard way that you need to change.
I'm not arguing that people make mistakes.
I'm not arguing that multiple people made this same mistake
But it's still 100% all of yours and their faults for not reading the instructions

and with that, I will go back to watching hockey because I care no more for this conversation

What I find funny is, where do they think all of these british people are on mturk? And they put the qual, "Location is not IN" I feel like they might actually have an easier time finding people in india who speak with a british accent, no?
There is probably some voice changer that gives you a British Accent, but I am not cheating.

Well, well, well, what have I walked into?

Hello Turks.
Things are a bit tense, it'll be alright. Or maybe Zoltars will start handing out blocks to everyone and then shit will really hit the fan.

Coworker at my offline job got 3 blocks in 30 days. They closed his account. I guess that's to many. This was late last year.
Given that

-We have no idea how many "too many" is
-We have no idea "too short" a period of time is
-We have no way of knowing how many blocks are on our account at any point in time
-Mturk employees don't even know how blocks work
-Requesters aren't really sure how blocks work

I think everyone is fully justified in wanting to avoid them.

Not now, necessarily. They opened MTurk up to British people, Australians, and some others.

And in Google's case they could easily block someone from multiple accounts if they don't want their work, thus expediting a suspension. It happened to me.

Zoltar did hand out blocks today tho
I'm honestly surprised it took them this long, with the script it seemed like it was super easy to scam them and just click on whatever to get them done as fast as possible.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm not much of a big batch type person.

If I find a batch that I really like, I do them, but I don't have the attention span necessary to do thousands of HITs that bore the shit out of me.
