I bought this from somewhere else besides Amazon. This is why I'm not a verified buyer.

Bottom line is that this thing just does not work as advertized, PERIOD. It is difficult to operate when loaded with two half sticks of butter. The half sticks of Land O Lakes that we use DO NOT FIT into the butter chamber and I had to cut one down by 1/3 to make it fit. When you shred the butter it is OK to spread on HOT toast, but when you try to use it on white bread to prepare a grilled cheese for example, as you scrape the little shreds of butter off of the top of the Butter Mill, they stick together and gain strength making spreading IMPOSSIBLE.

The little red elevator that screws through threads on the clear cylinder on the side of the Butter Mill constantly slips the threads. I imagine that this thing has a life expectancy of maybe 2 weeks. It is difficult to turn the Mill to extract butter and the top keeps trying to slip off.

Overall this is a DO NOT BUY rating.

oh, I don't do call HITs. our family plan doesn't have enough minutes for me to use them like that (5 of us share 1100 minutes/month) and I'm usually at work (with terrible cell phone service, I work in a basement) at this time of day. I'm telecommuting from home this week because my building's A/C is being worked on

I generally make one phone call every 2 weeks. So this is like me finally using my phone normally lol.
